Perhaps the only good effect of September 11th is that TUI cuts costs and keeps the old (great) Britannia livery?

I have seen a picture of a 737-800 in Britannias new colours! I dont know if it was just a computer image or not! I think the "colours" are awful! the whole plane is light blue except for a white belly. There is a silly smile logo on the tail and it says "britannia" in small white letters near the front! I thought the old livery was one or the best in the world, it looked so smart!

Britannia's repainting programme is just getting underway. They applied (and recieved approval) to extend the lease of Britannia AB B757 SE-DUL over the Winter season to cover their schedule while their own aircraft are repainted.

Just hope they decided against these silhouettes in the final scheme, last fashionable circa 1972 in the opening credits to James Bond films. James Bond films continued to use them as a bit of a joke, lets hope TUi don't become a joke.
