Does PAL Still Have Those Real Beds On Its 747s?

Wed Nov 28, 2001 4:24 am

Does PAL still have those real beds on its 747s? I'm talking about those real beds,
not the sleeper beds that convert to beds.

If not, when did they stop offering it?

Thanks!

Sorry those real beds are long gone. They used to have them on the 747-200's. The 747-400 and A340 fleet have traditional F/C/Y seating.

They only had them on the 4 747-2F6Bs (N741PR-N744PR). Nicknamed "youth hostel" by some in the travel business because of the tightness of the bunk-style bedding in the upper deck. It was allowed to stay in bed during take-off and landing.
