Delta Airlines Torch Relay

Sun Dec 02, 2001 1:21 am

I seen I justplanes.com the schedule of Delta Airlines torch relay, and I see that its coming to my town (Milwaukee) on January 6th. Is this going to be a 777? And does anyone know the times that its going to come in and leave.

Actually, the torch relay is a Chevrolet pickup truck.

The 777 merely transports the flame from ATH to ATL.

A CRJ will be used to ferry the torch around the US at four different times in the relay. The rest of the time it is followed by the Chevy Suburban fleet.

Ship 7005 left ATL last night for SLC and will fly nonstop SLC-ATH on Sunday. She leaves ATH at 1am local time on Tuesday and arrives at Hartsfield around 7am.

She was modified internally to accomodate the flame, and externally they FINALLY applied a Skyteam logo by door 1, as well as modified the Delta widget to the new curvy widget scheme in the Olympic sticker forward of door 1.
