Southwest Expands Its Expansion At HOU

This was in the Houston Chronicle on Thursday.

Currently, Southwest has 15 gates at HOU in two different concourses. The new concourse was supposed to have 20, now they've upped it to 24.

I'm wondering when this work is completed if we'll begin to see more long-haul flights out of HOU to FLL, TPA, PBI, SAN, OAK, SJC, SEA, and PDX, which currently have no daily nonstop flights, as well as additional frequencies to LAX and MCO, and MCI which currently have only one daily nonstop flight per day, and MDW and BWI, which only have 2 daily nonstops per day.
