Malev

Mon Dec 03, 2001 6:49 am

I am just back from Budapest and really enjoyed my flights with Malev. I flew out on a 737-500 and back on a 737-300. I manged to snap some ex Malev russian built aircraft parked at Ferihegy airport. I also visited malevs head office and they gave me a video and two books about the airline.

They're planning to lease new 737s starting around 2003.

EI 33: Where are Malev's Head Offices? And how do you get there?

I was there 2 times this summer. The airport is VERY nice (though service could be way better).

Anyway, in case I'll be heading to Hungary again, I think that I'll pop over to Malev's HQ. Do you need a special invitation or to inform them in advance or something?

Thanks

I checked with one of the ticket offices in the city center of Budapest and they directed me to the head office. By the time I got there they had laid on a bag of goodies for me. Enjoy your trip. EI133
