What Airlines Are Flying The 767-400?

Mon Dec 03, 2001 7:33 pm

Been wondering this for a while, and sorry if this has been asked already... besides Delta and Continental, what other airlines are currently flying the 764? And what airlines have orders to get them?

some b767 aircraft have over wing hatches, but the two most notable differences are

1) The main landing gear of the 777 have 6 tires on each main gear while the 767 only has 4...

2) The 777 has a knife-wedge tail similar to the MD-80 series....

Kinda makes this exact type unique. If Boeing shuts down the 764 line because airlines favor the 777-200/300 series aircraft, or the 767-300 series aircraft, then there will be very limited amounts of 764s making this aircraft type very unique

I hope they dont shut down the 764 line.. loved flying on the plane coming home from Atlanta... hope Delta continues to get more of those planes.
