TTA Airlines?

Anyone recognize the airline in the following ad?

"TTA" = Trans-Texas Airlines, which became Texas International Airlines. Texas International bought Continental in 1982 but kept the Continental name; this began Frank Lorenzo's control of CO.

Actually, if you look closely at the baseball player's cap in the second picture, you'll notice that it's an old Houston Astros cap.

Might have been Trans Texas Air, and if I remember correctly they did operate with DC-9s???

Ahhhhhhh....Tree Top Airlines Smile/happy/getting dizzy, aka Texas Trans Air! My father used to fly with them on business all over Texas in the early 60s, mainly on their DC-3s and Convairs, thus the name Tree Top Airlines.

When I returned to Texas in the early 80s, their name had been changed to Texas International. While I was an impovershied college student at the time, I remember taking full advantage of their 'Peanuts Fares' to SAT, AUS, HOU, DFW, MSY, ect.....

Yes, this ad is from a 1968 Astros souvenir program
