Loads And Yields In West Coast Mrkts.

Wed Dec 05, 2001 1:27 pm

Alaska, AWA, and SWA seem to be holding their own with their West Coast markets. It would appear that there is a much more accute downturn in the East Coast, with US, and DL moaning over lower loads.

Of course loadfactor is not an indicator of profit. I've read that DL's b/e loadfactor is around 85%.

I'm curious as to what the loads and yields are on intra-western market routes...i.e. west of DFW and DEN. Especially since UA Shuttle has been abandoned.
