Why are they on Strike? And why have people let them go on strike? ATC is essential. I think some people need their heads sorted out. I'm all for the ATC getting higher pay and whatever but it shouldn't come to a strike! Oh well...

Strike action by French air traffic controllers
British Airways is expecting disruption to its services later this evening (Wednesday December 5) and tomorrow (December 6) as a result of strike action by French air traffic controllers.
The airline will operate only four of its scheduled services between the UK and France during the 36 hour strike which starts at 6pm on Wednesday December 5 and finishes on Friday December 7 at 6am. The remaining 93 scheduled flights due to operate to and from France during that period have been cancelled.
British Airways is also expecting some delays to a number of its services due to re-routing to avoid French airspace.
British Airways apologises to its customers for any inconvenience and is working hard to ensure that its schedules get back to normal as soon as possible, due to a situation which is clearly beyond its control.
Passengers who are booked to fly on a cancelled service will be re-booked on to the next available service to their destination or offered a full re-fund.
The airline has asked passengers due to fly to or from France today to call 0845 77 333 77 for the latest information.
Anyone can fly, only the best Soar.
