Whats The Right Camera?

Fri Dec 07, 2001 11:38 am

I am looking into buying a new camera for taking pictures of airplanes at my local airport and at other airports like Atlanta and Washington (National) (noth that it really matters what Airport I am at) ANyways, I am willing to spend a max of 500 dollars for a camera. I don't want a digital camera. I wast one of those SLR Cameras. My friends tell me the Rebel 2000 by canon is a nice camera, but you guys and gals are the real experts in taking pictures. If you know of a type of camera that takes good pictures and is good for spotting.

Also, what kind of lenses are suitable for taking pictures of planes taking off and landing? For the lense, maybe 200-250 dollars. I am on a tight budget however because I am also saving up for Flight lessons!! If you have any information regarding Cameras suitasble for spotting, let me know!!

Thanks a lot,
Adam

The hobby and photo sections are where you should post this kind of question. Good luck with your flying lessons!
