What is this Monarch a/c doing at JFK..is it a regular service from the UK?

Also has anybody any info on current contract work that Monarch are doing at the mo? Heard they were down in Argentina recently doing route trail flights, can anybody confirm??

They are special chaters for cruise ships. I know some operate from Bournemouth (BOH) in the UK to JFK

The info above is correct, Monarch does do charter work for certain cruise lines during certain times of the year out of the USA. Also, I believe they operate a 757, in special configuration, for "round-the-world" air cruises for very "high-end" travellers - these flights also begin and end in the USA. Could be that, or something else entirely!

I believe Monarch used to offer a full programme of flights for Renaissance Cruises routing;
JFK-MAN-CAI-NBO-MHE-CAI-MAN-JFK

The aircraft used was G-MONE in full Renaissance livery

I believe Monarch are no longer operating a full Renaissance programme, but are operating some limited services on their behalf.

It is Air 2000 that operate the 2 all-First Class 757s on the air cruise programmes for TCS Expeditions during the winter seasons.



Both Air 2000 and Monarch base 757s in Argentina during the winter operating flights on behalf of Dinar.

Thanks for the info......by the way, Renaissance Cruises went bankrupt earlier this years......so no more flights on behalf of that cruise line.

Well that would explain why I'd heard the Renaissance contract had ended! Monarch must have picked up a contract from another cruise line...
