The photo is part of an article in that website's business section-never seen a shot quite like that!

What exactly is so weird in that shot, from when i've ben to LHR, most of the 747s, 777s and most of all other BA Aircraft have had their rudders like that, or do u mean the 752 in the background??

Well, the deflected rudders, head-on shots of the Concordes and the distant 757 make it a bizarre (re: interesting, rare) shot.

I just love see the Concordes from that angle; they look so elegant, so sophisticated so.....beautiful I guess.

It's just a very nice shot, imo, difficult to duplicate.

Why are their rudders deflecting in opposite directions?
...where the rubber hits the runway...

p.s. is this rudder deflection business standard across most airlines, while their a/c are parked on-stand? What is the point?

Cheers

No power on either aircraft, the two-piece rudders usually assume that position then.
But the front aircraft is a modified one, no red protective covers on the pitot.

This picture was taken in July where G-BOAF was parked up infront of 3 of its sister ships before the first verification flight for the Tank Liner mod.
