Fantasy Scheme: Midwest Express

Wed Dec 12, 2001 11:01 am

This will be my last fantasy scheme for a while since the holiday season is right around the corner and I have several new projects lined up before it gets here.

New to my site is Midwest Express. This is a drastic change for this particular airline. I wanted to create a scheme that is more suited for the business traveler, with lines that would almost represent a private corporate jet. An all new logo and font was also chosen. More on that later. Enjoy the picture.

Looks great! If only Midwest would put that on their new 717s & all the other T-tails, we'll have another winner here.  Wink/being sarcastic Regards.

Creative....

But I must say that I definately prefer the current Midwest Express scheme. Yours goes with the often-criticized basically white fuselage. It also completely changes Midwest Express' logo (which they have had since their start in 1984). Midwest's livery has a certain style about it that looks professional and many associate it with the airline. I don't think they're planning on changing it anytime soon.

Innovative, but I have to go with the anti-white-base crowd. I like liveries with color. The current one has more color. However, I could go with your logo change.

Great Webpage! Big thumbs up

I have a small suggestion Ryefly, how about designing a KLM 727-200 with the current colors of the airline! Big grin

in those colors would certainly look great!  Big thumbs up

I don't the the white! God knows there is way too much white in the skies ie Lufthansa, AF, DL, etc. I like your logo. Very professsional.

Much-much-much better and more adult than they have now; more professional. They should get rid of their current childish tailfin logo. Good job Ryan, do propose it to them. Merry Christmas to you and have a nice holiday. Personally I will work all day through except the 2 X-mas days themselves ofcourse.

Best whishes and good luck for 2002

Although you did do an excellent job, I have to say I like their current scheme better. They have a lot of color and I do think the current scheme is very professional with a little flare on the tail!
