Cathay Pacific Experts, Need Your Help

Sun Dec 16, 2001 8:57 pm

For a possible umpcoming trip next summer I need your help. Would really appreciate if you ccould give me some information regarding CX airplanes.

I've seen on the CX homepage that they have 2 layouts for the 744. Which one is flying to Frankfurt, Germany ?
Does it change occassionally ?

Also are there any seats you know that are really good on the B747-400, B777-300, A340-300 and the A330-300 ? But I'm especially curious about the 744 as this is the longest sector.

Thanks so much.

I flew FRA-HKG-SYD ; BNE-CNS-BNE-HKG-LHR on Cathay Pacific last year. The Frankfurt-Hong Kong leg was operated by a "74B", i.e. 747-400 with 389 seats. My seat was 67A. As I always take a window seat, 67A was a good choice because it´s not a "double excuse-me seat". You can put your legs between the front seat and the window panel, so there´s plenty of legroom as well.
