Champion Air? Any Good?

Mon Dec 17, 2001 3:12 am

I'm going from DEN to LAS on thursday 27th on a Champion air 727-200 (All they have) and I wanted to know if you've flown on them and if they are any good.
Or just post stuff about Champion Air..

I used to work for Champion Air in LAS as Station Rep.
Their Service is fine they do fly all B727 equipment.
Inflight Service is fine and seating is cramped as this is all economy class. I would ask for a Aisle seat or aisle across if you are travelling with another person.

Have fun in LAS!

I flew a chartered Champion Air flight from Grand Forks, ND to Providence, RI. They were all very friendly and I had no problems with them. I would highly recommend them!

I have flown on them 3 times this year and have no complaints. Great crews.

Search for my trip report on 'em; the 727's are very densely-packed and, if the flight is full, you'll not enjoy that aspect. And no one would accuse them of being richly-appointed.

But I'll echo the comments above about the crew- could not have been more pleased with them on both segments, lively, professional and very attentive. In all, much better than I expected on a charter carrier.

I'll fly them again.

I am flying on them to go sking from DFW to Steamboat, Colorado (I don't know the airport name) and back on the 24th and 28th. I'll post a report as well to tell you guys how it went.

I wouldn't worry too much because when I found out what airline I was flying to Colorado I posted it on this newsgroup and all I got were good replies so obviously Champion Air can't be bad.
