What Is The Best-Looking Regional Jet?

Wed Dec 19, 2001 5:53 am

I think the F-28 is the best-looking regional jet. What do you think is?

I would have to say. The Yakovlev Y-42-D. Then behind that would have to be the Canadair RJ series aircraft.
IMHO.  Smile

Hello,

Id agree. the CRJ is the best looking RJ, I think the ERJ is too pointy, this is just my opinion though!

Definately the Canadair Regional Jet... those things look like sleek little fighter jets, with the wings and all Big grin

And they look best in United Express/SkyWest colors  Big grin And yes ILUV767... I like the grey engine nacelles just fine thank you  Smile

Why even ask the question... it is so obvious. The Avro/146 family of regional jets. "THE regional jets of choice"

It's gotta be the Canadair...in the colors of my favorite airline of course (with the blue nacelles, thank you very much):

Ok, let's see....

F-28 - Way too stubby
AVRO/BAC - Way too fat
ERJ - Way too skinny
Dornier 328JET - Way too ugly

Give me a good CRJ, preferably wearing a pretty new Delta Connection paint job, and I'll take her home every time  Smile

Of course, to be fair, I'm biased. I fly them.

Horizon recieved the very first CRJ-700 in the US in May 2001.

I had the chance to view it while it was being flown from Canada to Horizon for delivery.

Simply amazeing!

That ERJ-145 looks like something rammed its tail from behind and bent it forward.

No doubt! The Crossair Embraer ERJ-145 is the most beautiful Regional Airliner!

I think the best-looking regional jet is the Canadair one:

I think the most beautiful thing on this aircraft is its tails shape.
