Flight Manuals?

Sun Dec 23, 2001 1:40 am

Hey All!!

I was wondering where a 15 year old who is very interested in cival aviation could be able to buy a A/C handbook or what have you. I know the current times would make this seem a tad bit odd but the last thing I would want to do is let these materials get in the wrong hands. Well if anyone can help please reply.

THANKS

PAUL

You can go to most FBOs, at any airport, are buy a manual to most light aircraft. There rae some web sites that sell them as well. I'd try www.sportys.com, i think they have a number of piper and cessna manuals for sale there.

Hi Paul,

I was able to find some fligt manuals at www.ebay.com
where I bought a complete set of flight and training manuals for the DC-9 for about 30 USD and a small flight manual for the curtiss C-46 for some 35 USD. Others, like the Swearingen Metro manuals were offered there for prices starting at 10 USD.

For some military and transport (MATS) aircraft you can also find manuals as originals, photocopies or on a CD-ROM at www.eflightmanuals.com

Best regards,

Tom
