I hope I'm not repeating any threads:
Malaysian have re-applied for their thrice weekly slots from May 2002. No-one seems to know whether the route will still stop and then re-start, but it is definite that the service has survived MAS's cutbacks.
El Al are urgently reviewing their position at MAN, having pulled off the route after Sept 11th. They are looking to resume twice, possibly thrice, weekly service from March or April.
Continental are still reviewing the service. For the summer, they have committed to a mixture of 777 and 764. Unfortunately, they are have not indicated any intention of reinstating the Monday service.
Malev hope to resume their summer 2001 schedule for the 2002 summer.
Finnair have restated their intention to have double daily A320/321s, replacing the DC9/MD80s.
The MAN-ATL service has reportedly had the best load factor of any Delta transatlantic service since the events of Sept 11th. Way to go Delta !!
