Fri Dec 28, 2001 7:00 am

hi folks

i´m planning a "flight vacation" from december 30th to jannuary 4th in las vegas,nv

and i´m desperately searching for cheap aircraft rentals (c152 like planes)

does anybody has a contact email adress? any idea of rates?

are there any restrictions in the LAS area for vfr flights? is filing a vfr flightplan mandatory now?

thanks a lot for yor reply,

The enhanced class B restrictions have been lifted so no, there are no new different restrictions remaining since before 9/11. Just stay 3000agl abv major sporting events within a 2nm radius (or something like that....). LAS has a steep landing fee (something like 50 to 60 bucks) and expensive fuel. I would suggest going into North Las Vegas or Henderson instead. Just remember to get clearance before you transition through the class b.
