Airport With Most Airlines' ERJs?

Sat Dec 29, 2001 12:21 am

I've noticed that one of, if not THE most common aircraft at Manchester Airport (MAN) must be the Embraer ERJ-135/145.

On any day you are likely to see exaples of the ERJ flown by the following carriers:

- bmi regional;
- British Regional Airlines;
- Luxair;
- Portugalia;
- City Airline;
- Skyways;
- Crossair.

Can anyone think of another airport where you can see MORE carriers operating the type?

UK said more carriers. Sure, the AA and CO hubs have more aircraft, but not that kind of variety.

Plenty of ERJs there I'm sure!

Can anyone think of any other airports where there are such a variety of carriers operating them?

Operators of the ERJ family of aircraft in the U.S. are few compared to countries elsewhere. Add to this list if you know of any others:

Continental Express
American Eagle
Trans States
Chautauqua
Mesa

Airplanelover: I think that Mesa just recieved some ERJ's to fly in US Airways colors. I think it would be very likely those could also visit PIT soon.
