What`s That Doing There?

Sun Dec 30, 2001 4:22 am

Just been looking through at some photos from MANchester and found this one of a dear old Dan Air BAC1-11 operating the Gatwick flight...

Over to the right hand side - could that be the back end of an America West 732 ????

Anyone have any clues to this one  Wow!

(just in case.....)

My guess is that the America West 732 is on lease by a British carrier or tour operator for the heavy summer season. The plane probably returned to Phoenix that Fall.

My bet is that it's N143AW on return to GPA. That's the only one returned to Europe in 1986 that I'm aware of. To the best of my knowledge no HP aircraft has ever been leased to another carrier.
