Good Traffic For New Year's

Mon Dec 31, 2001 3:02 pm

The majors are dropping broad hints that traffic numbers over the Christmas and New Years holidays will be good in the US. Continental claims to be 95% booked for New Years, and the other majors are claiming 85%. Houston is predicting holiday traffic will be down 8% on 15% less flying, so load factors will be up compared to last year. Is this a trend? When do we get back to 100% systemwide flying?
