What was your first plane you saw in this new year of 2002? I saw a USAF B2 on tv.

Just got back from the airport (YQG), where I went especially to see the SSV/Sunquest flight arriving from POP (SSV 555), it was operated by a (leased) Skyservice A320 C-GTDK, it wears Air Tour's colors, and has no titles at all. What an awesome sight it was! Found a great place to spot, too. No pics in the database, BTW (perhaps under it's British registration, if anyone knows it, please enlighten me!).

The King Air 200 i flew this morning  Big grin.

The ramp guys had perfect timing, i walked out the door and they had the tug pulling it right up as i stepped outside. Talk about service. Flew to West Palm Beach... never felt so poor in my entire life. There were more Gulfstreams, Falcons and Citations than Ive ever seen. My King Air seemed wimpy... oh well.. I felt better when i got back to JAX and parked next to a Cessna 152, hehe.

I haven't seen any planes yet but January 2 I'll be flying a Cathay Pacific 747-400 from JFK to YVR to go back to school. Winter break was much too short.

Well, I haven't seen a plane yet... but I hope I see the SAS A340 or at least the SAS B767 (in the Red/Blue/Silver/Grey livery)... The SAS A321 will do just fine too.

At 0500 on JAN 1, a flight form the "Free Mexican Air Force" passed my house at about 500 feet. They probably weren't aware of the Blackhawk 1 mile behind them. The smuggler got away though. To the unitiated, the Free Mexican Air Force is a name given to drug flights into the southwest US. A title to a great song too.

I saw other aircraft first, but the first one I flew on was this one January 1st 2002: Air Canada Airbus A330-300 C-GFUR on flight 865 LHR-YUL.
