Pilot Hours

Fri Jan 04, 2002 2:35 pm

What are the current limits for flight hours for airline pilots?

If the pilot is in military reserve or guard do those hours count against the airline time? Does airline time count against the military hours or are there no restrictions there?

Thanks in advance,
Don

Civilian time doesn't count towards military time and vice versa for regulation purposes. Civilian airline time limits are scheduled for 8 hours in a 24 hour period, 100 in a 1 month period, and 1000 hours in a 12 onth period. For aircraft with 30 or less seats, these limits can be raised up to 120 hours per month and 1200 per year.

No hour limits on Cronus Airlines, especially with all the charter flights in summer !  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
