Id90's Hawaiin

Tue Jan 08, 2002 11:24 am

Hey, next week i will be flying out to honululu, and will want to fly on Hawaiin from honululu to kahului, to spend a couple days there, then fly back to L.A.. I was wondering how much an Id90 would cost on this particular route, or if i should just buy a 50.00 $ ticket. Thanks for the info. Cant wait to fly the 717!

My wife and I took the exact same trip a couple of years ago on Hawaiian for about 23$ each on standby.

You can buy interisland flight coupons at the HNL interisland terminal from the Bank of Hawaii bank machine for $59 one way. It's the best deal available currently.

Hello,

I am not sure, but for SR employees there was a minimum ($20 IIRC) per coupon.

Maybe I sound cheap, but I don't find $59 one way cheap. In Europe, that will get you one of the higher EZY London-Athens fares.

I don't think you would save substantially by buying an ID90, as many of those tickets around $50 anyway. The cheapest ID90 I ever bought was $37, and I think it's probably worth the extra $13 to have a confirmed seat. Do you know of an easy way, perhaps online, that these tickets can be priced out?

Hello,

Jhooper, what is the point of having a confirmed seat when your Mainland-HNL flight is also standby (or that is what I am presuming)

Delta15, why don't you ask your staff travel office or check on Delta's staff website (which you/the member of your family who works for DL should have access to)

Could mean the difference between getting on and not getting on, and what's $13 bucks?
