Try Star Alliance and OneWorld. I know that Star Alliance used to have several pre-arranged around the world packages to choose from.

A guy in the trip reports forum wrote a great review of his RTW trip in C class.

Last year I got a FIRST Class "Circle Pacific" fare from Air New Zealand and Singapore Airlines - LAX/AKL/SYD/SIN/LAX - that was cheaper than the BUSINESS Class fare would have been LAX/AKL/LAX.

Since they (between them) fly to all the places you want to go, I suggest you try them. The only problem might be LAX/AMS - you may have to fly through London and get an add-on fare (pretty cheap) from London to AMS.

I did not find this on the Internet, I got it through a travel agent. But Round The World tickets are often much cheaper than simple round trips.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

SQ advertises on their website with a RTW ticket on SQ and ANZ. Prices are relatively good in C class, around 4000 EURO. Go to the regional website for The Netherlands.

When I was in South Africa, three times a year I'd visit clients and suppliers in Europe, the States and Asia. The pairing I used was BA/SQ.

The such trip I took was in 1998, and was routed:

JNB-CPT-LHR-MAN-FRA-LGW-EDI-LHR-JFK-SIN-SUB-SIN-BKK-SIN-MRU-JNB

The LHR-JFK sector was on Concorde; the rest was in First (or if F not available, C).

Cost, including the Concorde add-on, was US$5,000.

http://www.singaporeair.com/saa/app/saa?hidHeaderAction=onHeaderMenuClick&hidTopicArea=UKRoundtheWorld

found this on Singapore Airlines, for the UK. I assume it DOES NOT include accomadation? If it does, i'm sold!

Dan - your assumption is correct. Strictly flights only (though SQ makes very cheap accommodation offers in SIN).

I did a J Class Round the World with UA and SQ which was excellent. The fares were (are still are) about AUD6500 compared with a return J Class flight to east coast USA of AUD8800.

Check sites such as travel.com, orbitz, travel.com.au or the equivalent in your country to source the best fare and airline combinations.
