MK 747

Does anyone have any news on the likely cause of the MK Airlines 747, which crashed in Port Harcourt in November killing one crew member ? At the time it was rumoured that it had run out of fuel, though this was later denied.

All I know is that the aircraft (9G-MKI - ex JA8144 & N741SJ) crashed approximately 700m short of Runway 21 (9843x197ft) while attempting to land at Port Harcourt's Omagwa Airport on a flight from Luxembourg. A crewmember was fatally injured in the crash.

Still waiting for the NCAA interim report. All the nav systems on the ground were fully calibrated and functioning properly.
