Mystery DC-9 At MDW

Fri Jan 11, 2002 8:15 am

I drove by MDW this morning and noticed a DC-9-30 in what appeared to be the basic Legend Airlines colors parked on the south ramp. There were no titles on the fuselage but there was a name on the tail. However I couldn't see it. Anyone know who this belongs to?

It's mine Big grin

If you think it was an ex Legend, my guess is that it's N922LG (it was stored in TUS, but recently left). Just a good guess....

A charter airline now operates 2 - 56-seat aircraft. Anyone is able to charter it IF he/she can acutally get a date to rent one in the next three months. Seems very popular.

You know what you saw, but i could draw your attention to this:

http://www.flighttime.com/portal/index.jsp?pageID=dc9_legend

Most people don't know about these sites now. If there is a team of 4 or more people, http://www.flighttime.com can give cheaper per-seat rates than airlines' full-fare/first-class. Flighttime and other websites will give quotes for dozens of different biz jets operated by hundreds of small charter companies.

Penguinflies:
One of the DC9's of that company has just arrived here in TLH about 1 hr ago. It was also here a couple of days ago. From what I heard from police is that Jeb Bush (FL governor) had just came in on that jet. If this was true, then one of these were in Washington today because that is where the governor came from.
