My Idea For A New Livery After VEX/DAT Merge

Sun Jan 13, 2002 3:54 am

Might take a while to open but here you'll find my idea for an aircraft livery design after a possible merge between Virgin Express and DAT:

Have fun!

Hi,

Do not like the purple fuselage and the red tail, somehow this combination is not good.
Besides that, DAT and Virgin Express fly short inner European routes with aircraft size B737 and smaller. Why an A330?

regards,
Marcel

I hope that if the merger takes place, they will take another brand than Virgin...

Air Orange very good especially the lady on the nose with the Belgian flag. However I agree with 1stspotter, why purple?

Not at all keen on the purple! The Brussels Commercial Court have given DAT until Tuesday to come up with sufficient cash to finance their new plans which they are unable to do; and VEX have said that they are not interested in the proposals made by DAT.

So it looks like DAT will be closed and VEX will become Belgium's one and only scheduled airline!

Nice but I don't think they will stick with the Virgin name.

The Sabena name will be proposed by the colonial grand-daddies of DAT  Smile for the merged VEX/DAT airliner

Purple because Virgin Atlantic has red and purple too.

Could you give me the code how to add an image directly in topic. I've never succeeded to do so, how did you do it?

The $ sign has to be replced by < and the ? by >
Should work then.

Ceilidh,

Davignon has said the money is there, so that is not the problem, talks with Virgin are still in progress and I am sure something will come out of it

I do not like the purple either. Perhaps instead of the lady on the nose the SABENA bird (the one from the winglets).
