Which means that the countless occasions that I have connected through CVG means I never set foot once in Ohio.

CVG is located in Covington, Kentucky, hence the code 'CVG'.

It's the "Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky Internation Airport". It used to be the "Greater Cincinnati International Airport". However, the Boone County Airport Authority decided that it wanted to show some Kentucky pride. So, they changed the name. They put Cincinnati first since the city so important to the life of the airport. I thought that was mighty nice of them.  Insane
