CX Flies 744 SFO-HKG?

Tue Jan 15, 2002 12:35 am

Folks,

I just checked OAG's web site and they now list CX 873 (SFO-HKG) as flying the 747-400 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with the flight using the A340-300 on the other days of the week.

When did CX make that change?

The OAG must be wrong. Only the A340 currently flies to SFO. Perhaps they are predicting a future change!

I would assume that they are predicting a future change in aircraft. It was always puzzling to me why CX flew the A340-300 into SFO in the first place. Everyone else operates the 747-400 across the Pacific into the City by the bay.
