USAirways Shuttle And Delta Shuttle

Wed Jan 16, 2002 11:20 am

I was on USAirways site just looking around when I found something on USAirway's shuttle routes. I decided to see where they flew to from DCA. They only had 3 routes! When i looked on Delta's it was the exact same routes! When I was in DCA I remember seeing many USAirway Shuttles and Delta Shuttles. Why do they have so few routes yet many aircraft?

That is why it is called a Shuttle. It is a shuttle service on the busy Northeast Corridor. Almost hourly deparutures, sometimes even more between Washington National, New York LaGuardia, and Boston Logan. In the past there have been other shuttle services, such as Eastern Airline's Shuttle between Miami Wilcox and New York City JFK, and I'm sure there has to have been more.
