When Did AA Start Code Sharing On Delta?

Wed Jan 16, 2002 3:20 pm

I was just checking to see if AA flew out of FLL to CDG, and noticed they had codeshares on Delta to cdg.. when did this start??... the flights are codeshares on Deltas codeshares on AirFrance.. none on actual Delta flights to cdg.. though there are code share flights on Delta aicraft- Delta Express- out of FLL to go to BOS for the flight out of BOS, the other one is on US Airways to PHL to the Delta codeshare there.

Are you sure?

I don't mean something like when Delta has a flight oversold and puts some pax on AA Eagle. I don't think that is called a codeshare.

Also, Delta has enough regional flights:
ASA
Comair
Sky West
AC Jet

Yup. Starts 18 Jan
LAX to/from FAT; SAN; MRY; SBA; PSP; and SBP
only online connection flights. (i.e. the passenger can not travel just to/from lax, must continue on a DL flight to elsewhere)
DL Flight numbers 6550-6718
Schedules have been loaded since the 10JAN
It is quoted as DL connection.
AA eagle, the loose airline spreads her business all over out of LAX; I know AA, NW, DL are all codeshares out there.

Wow, I didn't know that.

Is AA Eagle a part of AMR?

I think Jessman is referring to the new Delta codeshare on Eagle out of LAX. It links LAX to SAN, FAT, SBA, MRY, SBP, and PSP. Full details at the link below.
