Bell 609

Hey guys. I search the topic to no avail here on the forum.

I know that a while back, this passenger variant of the vf-22 Osprey was entertained. Does anyone know of any new developments in it?

The Bell-Agusta BA-609 is in an advanced stage of development. First flight should happen in few months and some airframes are already under construction in Bell's plant as well as in Italy at Agusta's Vergiate facility.
Agusta replaced Boeing some years ago in the civil titl rotor programme becoming Bell's partner. On the other hand Bell became partner of Agusta in the latter AB-139 helicopter programme.
Up to now there the joint venture should have gained more than 70 orders for thh BA-609 and the two Companies lines will share production for their markets.
