Here Come UPS's MD11s...

Wed Jan 23, 2002 10:06 am

According to JUSTPLANES.COM JAL is about to aquire more B767-300ER and dispose 5 of their MD11s. Since 9/11 JAL was reluctant to get rid of their tri-jets, but now seem to look like ready to move forward. Good for Boeing, because the manufacturer had no idea where to get the rest of the MD11s for UPS.

A long shot at best...perhaps Boeing can restart the MD-11 production line again. If Lockheed can do it with the C-5B, so can Boeing. Nah, it won't happen. Boeing has its head up its ass. Regards.
