Seems rather odd that this video is just now surfacing.
Weren't there originally TWO videotapes of AA 587, both shot from tollbooths on causeways that cross jamaica bay? Both of these tapes were reportededly handed over to the NTSB four days after the accident occured, yet we are only just now hearing information about the second tape?
The first tape was of course, deemed rather useless as the A300 appeared as just a spec in the background. But why was nothing said about the second tape weeks ago when it was first obtained by the NTSB? Am I expected to believe that the NTSB is just now getting around to viewing the second tape? Please.
Perhaps this is some kind of cover up, although I really and sincerely hope it is not! Someone set me straight if I have gotten my facts wrong.
