Baltimore, Charlotte From LHR

Thu Jan 31, 2002 7:32 am

I have noticed that flights to Baltimore and Charlotte have been flying from LHR. Isn't this prohibited under the Bermuda 2 agreement?

I'm presuming Baltimore is allowed under a "Washington" area designation.

Check on ceefax pages 443 and 444 (I can't remember if it was BA or AA - I think it was probably BA which would be page 444)

As stated, Baltimore is allowed as it is the Washington area. Ft. Lauderdale and Oakland are also allowed, as they are Miami and San Francisco area, respectfully. Charlotte is not allowed non-stop, but nothing says it cannot be one-stop, which it is (via Baltimore).
