Is This The World's Longest NS 727 Flight?

Thu Jan 31, 2002 2:13 pm

LEAVE ARRIVE FLT# EQUIP STP TME FREQ
8:30p MIA 5:30a+1 VVI LB 901 72S 0 8:00 Tu

It is an addition to LAB's current A310 service on MIA-VVI-CBB (ThFrSaSu) and MIA-VVI-LPB (MoWe) and continues onto LPB. Wow, 8 hours without any form of IFE (I know thier A310s have IFE, but thier 727s don't, correct?). I am sure this plane has to stop somewhere like PTY or MAO or CCS or something, or is it really non-stop like the schedule says?

They used to stop at PTY a few years ago.

Royal Airlines flew a summer charter series in 94 from YYZ to Riga, Latvia via KEF using a 722!

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

Something like 3200 statute miles... doesn't seem like a nonstop would take 8 hrs, does it?
