Impulse/airconnex 717s For Qantaslink

Sat Feb 02, 2002 8:07 am

does anyone know what the deal is with the 717 operation for qantas? staff now have airconnex id (airconnex and impulse are wholly owned by qf) but still work for impulse.

will there be more 717s? what about business class and IFE? There certainaly is a market for 'j' class on flts out of HBA and soon to be CBR...

It is all academic as ultimately Air Connex/Impulse is owned by Qantas.
As for more 717s, maybe. If the 'attack' on NZ is to be serious the 717 would make the ideal aircraft. In the NZ market J class could be installed.

I heard that Impulse/Qantaslink will add 4-6 more 717's in April/May 02.
