UGH...I was in S Florida Mo-Thu this week...don't feel like driving back. I went down for the Iron Maiden 744...horrible weather!

Do we know WHEN @ FLL?

Oooooooo.....i have that day off...i was going to head to MCO

I would still have gone up to TPA if DL had sent in a A330....but a 763?....pass...they were @ TPA for years.

If you're heading to FLL, I'll see you there!

Just for the fun of it, wouldn't it be cool if DL flew TPA-LHR to compete with BA/AA to LGW?

Are you recommending that airlines fly routes just for the fun of it?

Michigan, they’ll be coming down on an Atlas 744.

Was the other team, South Carolina, in the NCAA championship last year in Tampa? There were DL nonstops to GSP. Or was that Clemson?

Probably SC because Clemson was in the playoffs, this year it’s Michigan vs SC in the Outback Bowl.

That was Clemson that they added the nonstop(s) from GSP for. Added a few from Alabama as well I believe.

Anybody know why the Antonov An-124 is in town so frequently? Sitting in its usual spot this morning.

Also saw where Eurowings is going to be operating 6X weekly to RSW between Cologne, Munich, and Dusseldorf. Not sure if that means anything for the LH mainline flight.

The LH flight is full of many people connecting to the Middle East, India, Africa and Eastern Europe. A lot of the passengers on the Eurowings flights will probably be pax who would of connected at a hub to get to RSW. I don’t think the new service will impact LH very much.

I was wondering this too. Nothing on TPA's Twitter feed about it. Perhaps fees are less expensive at TPA than other places for the crew to rest/wait for next mission? It arrived late on Christmas Eve from Kingston, Jamaica.

On another note, an Atlas 744 brought the Michigan team in today from Detroit.

Is there a 777F on the ground at TPA tonight? Just landed and saw an all-white twin engine plane that appeared to have three rows of tires on the landing gear. It was parked near the UPS and ABX planes.
