Its now just about to line up to depart to LHR at 22.45L after a runway inspection.

Don't know why Concorde has been diverted, but there are ALOT of diversions around here, hell a Cityhopper Fokker 50 tried to land at Filton!!!!

It might have something to do with the weather, or maybe the new ATC systems recently installed?

Its presently trying to burn up fuel by going round and round in circles at the Biggin hold, too much fuel in the wing tanks so around a ten minute hold.

Further to an earlier 'incident' with an BA 767, LHR has been on a single runway operation for a while this evening.

And I thought Concorde would be first in line, whether they´re late or not or if one Runway at Heathrow is closed...???

True about the 767, no further details.
Pax. on 002 were provided with surface transport after getting off at LGW.

You're right Sukhoi, that was the lowest load by a long way so far, the next day's BA001 had 72 on board.
It's hard to notice a trend, but it seems there is a dropping off in BA002 loads towards the end of each week.
That's why when OAC re-enters service from April, the extra aircraft will enable overnight stays in JFK, allowing the BA002 to depart at it's original time of 08:45 local, BA reckon that will net 25% more pax on that route.
Although BA002's often come back with similar or higher loads than the BA001.

Traditionally how did the loads on BA3 compare to BA1?I guess BA1 would be marginally better pre-crash as you go to New York for a early meeting and be in London again the same night.

Typically the BA003's had lower loads than the 001, historical loads on the BA003/4 will be looked at when deciding how to reinstate them, assuming a go-ahead is given.
Like many, we are waiting on the now famous 'size and shape' review.
