What's Going On With Ansett Australia?

Sat Feb 09, 2002 10:53 pm

What's up right now? I thought Lew and Fox's Tesna Group has agreed to take over Ansett Australia.

What has been going on right now? Can anyone tell me?

Will the takeover succeed?

I remember you had quite a wee obsession with Ansett International!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy I'm sure the Aussies here will be in a better position to respond to your query, though.

AN International is indeed a GREAT International Carrier. It has one of the best services in the sky. I am sure we all miss AN International.

I am convinced that it will take at least 3 to 5 years before we see AN International and the B 747-400s flying.......

So, can anyone please answer my question? Many thanks!  Smile

I think most of us are still recovering from the last Ansett question session(s)
I like work: it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours. Jerome K Jerome

Who knows what is happening with AN.........it changes daily. Rumours are flying everywhere!!!!!!!!!

AN International will definently not be re-established.

AN Int? Maybe later. They said they might consider International Flights if domestic operations are profitable.

Cheers,
