How's NW's Service In Domestic F/c?

Sun Feb 10, 2002 2:19 pm

Hi all -
I'm flying IND-MSP-LAX-MEM-IND on Northwest in about a month and upgraded to F for IND-MSP-LAX using miles from my essentially dead Northwest WorldPerks account (I'm now collecting miles on Continental as the OnePass elite program is easier for people like me who fly frequent short hops). This will be my first flight ever in any sort of first class.

What kind of service can I expect in F on NW? Is it comparable to domestic F on other airlines? Should I expect decent food? Comfy seats? (For what it's worth, I'll be flying an A320 IND-MSP and then a DC-10-40 MSP-LAX, getting into LA around 7 PM).

Thanks in advance for your input!

MSP - IND probably a cold snack in first.

MSP - LAX ... 4 course meal with ice cream sundaes.

They dont seem to be skimping on the food portions either.

Have fun
