In Keflavik, Iceland it is most definitely the Boeing 757-200 (most flights are operated by Icelandair)

In MKE it would most definitely be the DC-9/MD-80's of Midwest Express. In Dayton it used to be the Emery DC-8's-727's, but now I would have to say USAir 737's.

It's all across the board at LAX. But if I just had to guess, I'd say 757's and 767's, followed by 744's and 737's (WN's).

At SNA, there's a good mix of 737s, and A-320 family, and some 757s. We dont get anything too exciting because of the strict noise regulations.

When I look up in the skies over MSP, it is quite often either one of these:

At ISN (Sloulin Field International, Williston, ND) we only have two scheduled airlines... Great Lakes Aviation (Frontier and United codeshare) and Big Sky Airlines (Northwest and America West codeshare). The big percentage of traffic is general aviation, lots of training in Cessna 152s and Cessna 172s, charters based here using a Cessna 310, fractional jets, business jets, UND multi-engine cross country flights from GFK (mostly Piper Seminoles) etc...

IND- I would have to say a 737 between WN, UA, TZ (ATA) and US Airways. Of course, this is including the 737s coming in for work at TZ and UAs MX facilities. It could also be 727 because of all cargo flights with Fedex and the postal service hubs. Plus Sunworld is getting ready to start service with 727s and I am sure ATA still has a few sitting around.

STL-MD80, no questions with the AA hub going on

MCI- I would say a toss up between MD-80 and 737, probably an even mix. Vanguard uses both, UsAirways uses both. DL uses MD-80 AA-MD-80 ME-MD-80 (but more DC-9s) WN-737 HP-737

At DTW it is most likely the

NW Dc-9 or A319/320

Mesaba S340/ARJ85

Express 1 CRJ

Those would be the most dominant.

Most dominant jumbos are NW DC10 and 744

Most dominant NON NW would be the MD-80, several flown by Spirit, AA, AA still in TW colors. Continental, Delta

or the 737 series- AA 738, America West 733, ATA 738, Continental 733, 735, 738, Southwest 732, 733, 735, 73G, United 733, 735, USAirways 733, 734.

Or else the CRJ- Like I said the CRJ is very common here in NW Express 1 colors, but the CRJ is also flown here from ASA, Comair and United Express

At AMA or Amarillo, TX the most common aircraft are 737's of Southwest, ERJ 145's of COExp, ERJ 145's, F-100's, ATR72's, & Saab 340's of American & American Eagle, & Canadair (not sure the model) regional jets of Delta. United flies a small Jetstream in twice a day also. That is just the commercial aircraft. In any one day you might see any sort of military aircraft doing touch & go's or refueling. I have seen C-17's, C-5's, B-52's, B-1's, A-10's, F-15's, F-18's, F-16's, KC-135's, and C-130's at one time or another. They like our airport because of it's extra long (13,502ft) and wide (300ft) main runway which used to be the runway for the Amarillo Airbase which closed in the 60's. We have good flying weather and no hills or mountains to hit, plus being centrally located makes for a good airport for practice.

In Hong Kong.. B747-400, B747-200F, A330, B777, A340, B737, A320.. etc.. lots of them are common.. But I do wish some uncommon to come.  Smile

By the way, I heard that later the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Deparment will ban all "noisy aircrafts" like B747-200, DC-10.. bad news..

At PHL, it would have to be the 737 and its various forms.

The 737 is operated by US Airways, Continental, United, Delta, and ATA.
