Aero Asia to start passenger, cargo service from

Due to the closure of Hyderabad airport by the Civil Aviation Authority, thousands of passengers were deprived of air service and it has also given a setback to the agrarian economy of interior Sindh.

However, a great hope had been generated due to the proposed introduction of passengers and cargo flights from this historic city by Aero Asia International.

These views were expressed by different speakers at a function held at a local hotel which was hosted by Aero Asia International, said a press release issued here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion the Naib Nazim Hyderabad district Nawab Rashid Ali Khan, who was the chief quest on the occasion. said that the people of interior Sindh were facing enormous difficulties as the PIA had totally stopped its flights from Hyderabad airport. He said it was a happy augury that Aero Asia has decided to introduce cargo service and later passenger service from the Hyderabad airport.

He said that the district government will fully co-operate with Aero Asia from Karachi to Larkana, Hyderabad, Sukkur and other cities. He said that it was the earnest desire of the company to introduce passengers service for Haj and Umra from Hyderabad.

He disclosed that first 30 bookings of business class will be done at the rate of economy class but the passengers will be provided facilities of club class. He did not rule out the possibility of providing pick and drop facilities to the businessmen of Hyderabad and Karachi.

The director marketing of Aero Asia Idrees Noorwala also spoke on the occasion. A large number of business including the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yousuf Suleman, Nazim Latifabad, Abdul Jabbar, deputy director Civil Aviation Habibullah Memon and elite of the town attended the function.

It is a shame how Pakistani govt. treat Hyderabad...a city of over 1 million people.

Oh, BTW, which aircraft are Aero Asia using, what are their future plans and what destinations do they serve?
