Help Needed For Standby On Alaska Airlines

Fri Feb 15, 2002 6:04 am

If I'm booked on the 2030 SEA-LAS departure, can I standby for the 1127 SEA-LAS departure on the same day for no fee? Does it depend on my fare class or can anyone with a ticket on that day standby regardless of fare class?

You can stand-by for any earlier or later same-day flight on the same route without a fee.

The only exception is if you have a "time-specific" or "flight-specific" fare, where you've gotten a special deal for flying on that particular flight or time. If that's the case, then you're stuck with that one and CANNOT fly standby.
