Some AA 717's In Service?

Sun Feb 17, 2002 3:33 am

Has AA all 717's retired, or are some operated as of yet?
Is one painted in full AA colors? Will all go to Airtran?
Thanks for the answers.

There are 18 717's in the schedule for March. They will be phased out through June. I will be off it in April--going to the "tube"(MD80).

The last three off the line for TWA (2426, 2427, 2428) came in the transitional colors--bare aluminum with TWA logos. Aircraft 2417 was stripped prior to the decision to park them. There may be another one or two stripped but I haven't seen them for awhile.TC
