What was the 737NG EIS like?

Tue May 16, 2017 11:28 pm

I wasn't around for the 737NG EIS, so I'm wondering what it was like? I don't know if A.Net existed in 1997, so I was wondering. What was the inaugural route for WN on the 73G? When did other US carriers receive their first ones? Was there any troubles at first? When was the first time it did transcontinental flights? Was there any major festivities for the first flight and the EIS? Thanks.
