Three New Bmi Routes?

Mon Feb 18, 2002 3:17 am

Amongst the plethora of adverts in a travel section on one of the newspapers today, there was a bmi one which listed the following available for £99 return (subject to conditions, of course):

MAN-AMS
MAN-CDG
LBA-AMS

Anyone care to set whether these routes will happen because I cannot envisage them expecting people to travel via LHR when these routes already exist by other carriers non-stop!

Which I did already - it would be absolutey pointless them offering these one-stop deals when there are some 9 or 10 MAN-CDG non-stop services a day, 9 or 10 MAN-AMS non-stop services a day and 6(?) LBA-AMS non-stop services a day.

The other thing on this advert is that it specifically didn't mention going via LHR.

Or they will maybe use their A332...if the deal with SN Brussels Airlines is not concluded...
