Airbus New Website

Mon Jun 19, 2017 3:02 am

http://www.airbus.com/

I prefer the two previous generation Airbus websites than this new one.

Now both A & B websites look identically dull.

Just my opinion.

Seems once you get deeper into the site it doesn't change.

I thought Airbus cancelled the A350-800 program? But they have a new website and they list it as one of their products?? Did I miss something?

Nope it isn't cancelled and still has an order from Asiana for 8 A350-800s.

Actually they did drop the A350-800 program I have just been reading about it, because Hawaiian converted their order over to the A330neo in replacement to the cancelled A350-800 program. Airbus is in talks with Asiana to convert those remaining orders to either the A350-900 or the A330Neo... which still begs the question as to why on a new website they would continue to list a variant of the airbus family that not only hasn't been produced yet, but has had the program cancelled all together?

Technically the A358 hasn't officially been cancelled yet. As TheGeordielad stated Asiana still has a firm A358 order that Airbus needs to deal with. Development on the model has just been suspended, we just all know that means the development will never be resumed and the variant will eventually be officially cancelled in favor of the A330neo.

Airbus had the A380F on their website up until about ~2012 even though its last order was cancelled in Spring 2007.

Give it time...those pages haven't been updated yet.
